A historical castle of the 13th century the Netherlands was reopened as a hotel in 26 single-bedded room, designed by some leading interior designers * Holland and managed almost entirely by students of the part of the School of hotel management, Maastricht, the Zuyd University.
The Chateau of Bethlehem, outside the historic city in the South-East of the country, offers an innovative perspective as the hotel industry management to integrate academic and practical training for the hospitality industry around the world-changing requirements.
The hotel, now opened, after a renovation program for two years, is intended to a meeting place for creativity, innovation and design – students at the hotel to be the Netherlands, Turkey, China, UK, South America, Canada and Germany, it means, that the international hotel industry.
Beautiful interiors that also a conference room, bar and restaurant for 130 seats, were lined with DESSO, to meet international carpet manufacturer, some designed and custom woven carpets Wilton and Axminster demanding criteria of the design team.
The Castle, which shows in 1288 as “Castle Limal,” as a historic building can be reduced of national importance in a productive life, but also with its unique rooms in a learning environment to create new ideas in the field of hospitality, which is a resonance around the world.
DESSOinternational experience in the field of hospitality and creativity of the design team, was a central aspect of creating sophisticated and innovative interiors, and the company is to remain fully involved in the hotel.  With other companies who took part in the design of the hotel, DESSO become part of a newly established “think tank”, offer collaborative inspiration and new ideas for the hotel and its innovative client experience successful development.
The concept of collaborative research and design is part of the philosophy of the School of hotel management, which manages networks of contacts in the industry.

The hotel rooms were by Piet Hein Eek, Studio Job, Richard Hutten, Evelyne Basolateral, Jurgen Bey, Fleur Muris and Marcel van Neer, D/Dock (Francesco Messori and Martijn Jans) and Gerben van der Molen, developed the design of the stars.
