Lobster houses: Monster trucks scrap seen modules

With the end of the brand lobster in sight, the two founding architects of HPlusF had the opportunity, check the latest details of the car. Their results have been source of inspiration: sheet metal of the body shell components were structurally sufficient to transform this old land roving monstrosities of new housing for capsule-style modular.

It was a day exciting, Craig Hodgetts have directly enter Dornob with this bold design idea would be a serious understatement. He Hsinming Fung are uncompromising, award-winning architecture with duo – calculated and the HummerHaus combines her love of technology, understanding of its origin in the industrial design and theatre (and living) and native region of Los Angeles.

“Consisting of from eight shells identical lobster of prefabricated steel frame supports, is body space industrial to a manufactured object with the electrical 12-volt, components of the cooling, heating and OEM media and ingenious use of corners and end generated by pressed steel housings used.”.

“Reservoirs of optional geothermal storage, photovoltaic cells and isolation of soybeans are a sustainable project, which has at its core, complete recycling of reviving its supply chain and a car factory.”

Like many of their projects, this series of modular housing suggests new ways which look, environments and existing objects – there is somewhere between the conceptual architecture, art and cultural communication multimedia installation.

However at the end of the day, my own take is simple: I live in one of these smart configurations – who knows, perhaps we will begin studios, cooperative to see entire communities filled with pads of Bachelor, family homes, offices, and all community centers created by lobster. For several of their creative works, visit the website HPlusF – and I thank you once again, Craig, to write.
