Serein L House by Mathias Klotz
Beautifully photographed by Roland Halbe, the most recent House of Chilean architect Mathias Klotz is a masterpiece of the politics of appeasement and sophisticated minimalist restraint.

With only items made of concrete and glass and limestone and wood, with an almost Japanese sense of space that House has a quiet non-authoritatively is unusual for the architecture of these materials.

As a result, the House has a quality without age, that is not too trendy or too traditional.

Surprisingly, angehaltene concrete slabs are used to make a unit that should feel alarming for the purpose of conclusive, but they are exactly right, certain significant protection mesh calming, but without the overwhelming shaded by it.

In the bedroom and study, cooled by a calcareous soil this gives a relaxed and elegant space side by side from the walls of thick slab of ground-to-ceiling glass easily balanced.

Minimalist bathroom is sent, with fat clear lines and beautiful eternal materials.

A glazed garden room opens a roof terrace disarmingly simple and straightforward.

The rooftop terrace, the shape of the House as follows, is a great place in the Sun, with a view to the clear pool below only Suns.
